
With 30 years of experiences in the manufacturing business, the Group has kept on transforming in order to enable the organization to thrive in this ever-changing world. The Group strives to lead in the product innovations, developments, and manufacturing in the toys and related areas, and this is our key to distinguish from others and stay in the forefront of the manufacturing industry. Although it is not an easy task, we do believe that is the way to be successful.
Below is a list of milestones that showed the corporate development of the Group, from the earliest stage to the most recent development.
Milestones
| 1950’s | The founder of the Company came from Shanghai and started the metal die engraving business in Hong Kong. At that time, there were only four professionals in Hong Kong who were capable with this kind of hand engraving skills, and he was one of them. |
| 1960’s | The founder of the Company founded the first metal engraving and mold making factory in Hong Kong, named Lucky Technical Works. |
| 1970’s | Lucky began her plastic injection molding business, making blow molding toys and supplying plastic toys parts, plastic watch cases and straps, plastic tape cassette parts and many other plastic parts and accessories to local and overseas factories. |
| 1978 | The 2nd generation of the Company and current Chairman of the Group, Dave Chong joined the family business and the factory name was changed to Lucky Products Factory Limited later. |
| 1980’s | Lucky started to make plastic hard toys and die casting parts. |
| 1985 | Lucky moved part of the production base to Shenzhen, China. |
| 1987 | Lucky completed the factory relocation and started the plastic toys OEM business in the same year. |
| 1989 | Lucky started the die cast toys OEM business. |
| 2001 | Within a few years, business scale continued to grow rapidly in Lucky. Lucky then moved to the current 1st production base. Over 1000 employees were employed. |
| 2002 | Lucky's Hong Kong headquarter and 1st production base were awarded ISO 9001:2000 Certification. |
| 2004 | Lucky started the implementation of SAP ERP system. |
| 2005 | Lucky started the electronics toys business. |
| 2006 | Lucky began to produce display phones for Nokia and was granted as one of the tier-one suppliers. |
| 2007 | Lucky's second production base was established in Qing Yuan, Guangdong, China. |
| 2009 | Lucky's 2nd production base was awarded ISO 9001:2000 Certification. |
